Mike McLaren FCA

Qualified in 1973 with medium sized Birmingham practice, subsequently joining a small practice specialising in taxation and then a top 8 practice as supervisor dealing with all aspects of Audit, Liquidations and Management Consultancy. Transferred to a Luton based commercial company as Financial Director for 4 successful years prior to returning to public practice with Stoten Gillam in 1980 and becoming a partner in 1982.

Wide experience of all aspects associated with local businesses.

 

 

 

John Wright BSc(Hons) FCA

After gaining a degree from London University, qualified in 1986 with a medium sized practice. Joined an international firm specialising in audit and investigations before returning to general practice. Admitted into partnership in 1995.

John is responsible for an extensive portfolio of clients and has particular expertise within the corporate sector. He has many years experience in dealing with small and medium sized companies.

 

 

 

Chris Trevor BA(Hons) ACA CTA

Joined Stoten Gillam in 1995 after graduating from the University of Kent.  Chris qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998.  Joined the taxation department of a "Big 4" international firm of accountants in 1999 to develop specialist experience in taxation and qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2000.  Having gained extensive tax knowledge and experience returned to Stoten Gillam in 2002 to pursue a general practice career. 

In addition to his specialist tax knowledge Chris has an interest in IT and can advise on matters including accounting and payroll software, internet and email and computer hardware.  He has much experience with SAGE accounts and IRIS payroll, for which we can supply the software, support and training.

Sue Cox BA(Hons) ACCA

After obtaining a business degree from the University of Hertfordshire Sue has worked both in practice and industry. Returning to practice in 1995 Sue heads our trainee staff department and brings her wide business experience to bear when specialising in solving some of our more challenging assignments.  Sue is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant.

 

Jo Linter BA(Hons) FCCA

Jo is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant with extensive general practice experience of servicing small and medium sized businesses.  She has a good knowledge of many bookkeeping systems.
 
Nigel Richards BA(Hons) ACCA

Nigel qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant with us after gaining experience in assisting small and medium businesses.  He is particularly involved in providing hands-on computer and bookkeeping support.
