Semi-senior accountant with payroll experience
We are looking for a semi-senior general practice accountant, who also has some experience with payroll, to join our team within our Chartered Accountancy practice in Dunstable.
To apply for this role you must have a minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience working for an accountancy practice. If you have a qualification then AAT or equivalent is the level that we are looking for. Applicants that are qualified by experience will also be considered.
The role will encompass:
- Preparation of Limited Company accounts from client records
- Corporation Tax computations
- Sole trader and rental income accounts
- Personal tax return preparation
- VAT Returns
- CIS Returns
Payroll experience to cover our payroll function when our payroll staff are on holiday or out of the office will be required. Knowledge of auto-enrolment would be useful.
Good communication skills are required as you will be communicating with our clients and with other staff by telephone, writing and in person.
